Moon...



... over Malaysia...

It's my one and only serious shot of the moon I ever made in Malaysia, with the longest lens I had (the 70-200mm) and a 1.4 extender - making it at the long end 280mm. And still it's a fairly big crop...

I did try moonshots with the Leica (a nice blood moon), but with only 90mm (the longest Leica lens I have) it's hardly worth the effort. My guess is these shots only become interesting around 600mm or so, and those lenses are not an option for an amateur...
